City of Jyväskylä's recruitment subsidy for hiring an employee

Recruitment subsidy can be granted to employers (companies, associations, and foundations) operating in the City of Jyväskylä who hire a job seeker from Jyväskylä who is unemployed, in training, or at risk of unemployment.

As part of the recruitment subsidy, there is a cash bonus if the job seeker is employed by the company for a longer period. With the bonus, the recruitment subsidy can amount to up to €13,000. We can also assist employers in finding suitable employees if needed!

Recruitment subsidy can be applied for employment relationships starting in 2026. The employment contract with the new employee can begin no earlier than January 1, 2026, and the application must be submitted within one month of the start of the employment. The application system will open on January 19, 2026.

Recruitment subsidy is granted within the limits of available funds and is discretionary.

Detailed application instructions will be published on this page at the beginning of 2026.
