Wage subsidy
Wage subsidy is a discretionary support intended to promote the employment of an unemployed job seeker. The purpose of a wage-subsidized job is to facilitate the job seeker's employment in the open labor market.
Wage subsidy can be granted under certain conditions for the employment of an unemployed person who has deficiencies in professional skills, or whose permanent or long-term disability or illness reduces their chances of obtaining suitable employment, or who is a long-term unemployed person aged 60 or over.
The wage subsidy is 50–70% of the salary, depending on the duration of unemployment (support period of 5 or 10 months).
