In addition to expert keynote speeches, the event featured presentations from seven growth companies, with Nuanic and Nordic Radius receiving awards.

The Jyväskylä Business Rally Investor Day, held on Thursday, 30 July at Sataman Viilu, attracted approximately 60 investors from Finland and across Europe. The event brought together growth companies, investors, business networks and international experts. Throughout the day, participants heard insights from international experts, watched investor pitches from seven growth companies and established new connections to accelerate business growth.

The expert keynote speakers included Audra Shallal, Member of the Board of European Business Angels Network (EBAN); Petri Laine, Venture Partner at Innovestor Venture Capital; Niilo Kervinen, Founding Partner at Northlink Partners; and Mauri Pekkarinen, Chair of the City Board of Jyväskylä and Minister. Their presentations provided perspectives on international investing, financing growth companies and emerging market opportunities.

Nuanic won a place at Europe’s leading lnvestor event

At Investor Day, seven Finnish growth companies presented their solutions to an international audience of investors. The participating companies were Roadial, Nuanic, Verso Vision, RSD (Rapid Structural Design), Umbrella Forensics, Sensible4 and Nordic Radius. The companies represented sectors including health technology, artificial intelligence, digital security, industrial digitalization and automation systems.

The pitches were evaluated by an international jury consisting of Audra Shallal; Ilkka Kaikuvuo, Chair of Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN); Lauri Antalainen, Chair of Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN); Jouni Flyktman of IQM Quantum Computers; Jarkko Kosonen of Midinvest; and Croatian investor and EBAN influencer Davorin Štetner.

The Investor Day pitching competition was won by Nuanic, a Finnish health technology company developing biosensor technology to support mental well-being. Nuanic impressed the jury with its strong scalability potential, highly capable team and clear market position. The company was awarded participation in the European Angel Investment Summit 2026 in Luxembourg. Nuanic’s pitch was held by CEO Sanna Koskela.

The Audience Choice Award and the Coup de cœur Special Mention were awarded to Nordic Radius, a company developing glucose monitoring technology.

Jyväskylä creates international growth opportunities

The traditional Business Rally Investor Day, now organized for the eleventh time, has established itself as an important part of both the Finnish and European startup and investment ecosystem.
