Precision Training

Precision Training is a tailored professional training that meets the needs of your staff and is also suitable for temporary layoff situations.

Precision Training provides a solution for training current staff when changes in the company require updating the skills of both the entrepreneur and employees. These changes can be technological or operational. The goal of Precision Training can also be to prevent layoffs or dismissals, in which case the training is conducted during or instead of temporary layoffs.

No degrees or partial degrees are awarded in this training. The aim is for those who complete the training to continue working for their current employer.

Who is Percision Training suitable for and under what conditions:

Precision Training is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. The public sector, such as the state, municipalities, municipal federations, and parishes, can also utilize Percision Training. The training lasts a minimum of 10 days per student.

The service is discretionary. Precision Training does not fund regular induction and staff training, which are the employer’s responsibility, nor training that employers organize according to national training standards.

The service is chargeable. The costs of Precision Training are shared between the employer and the City of Jyväskylä. The employer’s share of the cost is 30–50 percent of the total price, depending on the size of the company and its turnover or balance sheet.
